       초여름 수련 연못에서

 

   봄날 고운 작별 인사 위로
   초여름 싱그러운 커튼 열리면
   도심 공원 작은 연못엔
   해맑은 수채화 잔잔히 퍼진다

 

   햇살 머금은 노란꽃
   수줍은 볼을 닮은 분홍꽃
   청초하고 아름다운 모습
   바라보는 눈길마다 고운 자태 넘친다

 

   진흙탕 고인 물이라 탓하지 않고
   고여서 갇힌 삶이라 원망치 않으며
   도리어 탁한 세상 품어 안고
   가장 눈부신 꽃잎 피워내는 너

 

   물을 탓하지 않는 그 너그러움
   향기 되어 바람에 흐르고

   초여름 길목 마주한 가슴마다
   깊고 푸른 울림으로 번진다.

   Water Lilies in Early Summer Pond

   Above the sweet farewell of spring days
   As the fresh curtain of early summer opens
   In the small pond of the city park
   A bright watercolor gently spreads

 

   Yellow flowers soaking up the sunlight
   Pink flowers resembling shy cheeks
   Pure and beautiful look
   Every gazing eye overflows with grace

 

   Not blaming the muddy, stagnant water
   Not resentment for a confined life
   Embracing the murky world instead
   You bloom your most dazzling petals

 

   That generosity of not blaming the water
   Becomes a scent floating on the breeze
   In every heart facing the path of early summer
   It spreads as a deep, blue resonance.

            初夏、睡蓮の池で

                                         -  李潤玉

 

   春の日、美しき別れの挨拶の上
   初夏の爽やかなカーテン開けば
   都心公園の小さな池には
   明るい水彩画が静かに広がる

 

   陽射しを孕む黄色い花
   恥じらう頬に似たピンクの花
   清らかで美しい姿
   見つめる眼差しごとに麗しい姿が溢れる

 

   泥水の濁りを咎めることなく
   閉じ込められた生を恨むこともなく
   むしろ濁った世界を抱きしめ
   最も眩しい花びらを咲かせるお前

   水を咎めぬその寛大さ
   香りとなって風に流れ
   初夏の路頭に出会う胸ごとに

   深く青い響きとなって広がる。
